What is your favorite extracurricular activity?
Singing, performing, and travelling with the San Francisco Girls Chorus! I have been a proud member since age four and a part of the Premier Ensemble for the last six years. We’ve brought our harmonic voices to Windsor Castle, Paris’s Saint Sulpice, Trinity College Chapel in Cambridge, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, and more!
What is your favorite/best Stanford OHS memory?
Italy trip with Stanford OHS Latin was such a blast: we ate gelato daily, scaled Mount Vesuvius, visited ruins of Pompeii, toured Florence’s art galleries, and studied Rome’s mesmerizing and historical architecture! I also loved Summer@Stanford, where I formed some of my closest friendships during a fun-filled two weeks, including memorable excursions and fascinating labs!
What was your favorite Stanford OHS course and why?
Critical Theory of the Anthropocene.
We explored so many interesting mediums of texts from graphic novels to movies to research papers to short stories. I loved experimenting with my creative flair in my multimedia final project on deforestation and giant pandas, as well as my satirical piece about an imagined future bleached coral reef tour!
