What is your favorite/best Stanford OHS memory?
All Stanford OHS meetups are filled with incredible and memorable moments (the pictures we take to occupy a lot of storage space on my phone).I'd say that the moment when you see someone after months (or even years) without seeing them is really great.
What is your favorite extracurricular activity?
Football (soccer)! I played football for the first time when I was three and fell in love with the unmatched sensation of kicking the ball around and scoring goals. Nowadays, soccer is still extremely important to me. The feeling of exertion is liberating; it gives me balance in life as it clears my head, and gives me a fresh perspective, allowing me to reflect on decisions. It also gives me the balance of in-person interaction after online school. I remember once my mother joined in on the football fun playing with my father against my brother and I, which we thought would be an easy win. We lost 10-3. One of the best days of my life.
What is your career goal?
Ultimately, I want to have an impact on the world. And I think that the best way to achieve this is by pursuing projects related to my passions. My dream is to, one day, found a multinational network of football academies, particularly in developing countries where players are not charged to attend. This allows me to provide young players, like the ones I interact with daily, the opportunity to experience pure soccer enjoyment while developing character and being given the chance to escape from the injustices of the world.
