What was your favorite Stanford OHS course and why?
HSC changed my life. As an aspiring scientist who had never been exposed to philosophy, it was earth-shattering (in the best of ways) to realize the way in which philosophical assumptions underpin everything I thought I "knew" about the world.
What is your favorite/best Stanford OHS memory?
Hearing Dr. Walker-Dale talk about the transcendent beauty of whale poonamis (they're exactly what they sound like).
What is your career goal?
I'm currently considering three primary career options: (a) become an academic in environmental economics, (b) start a religion (something sustainability-related), or (c) sail around the world with a pet, likely a chicken. I may also consider a career in sea-shanty composition.
Who is the person you most admire?
I admire my sister, Helen, more than words can describe. Her generosity, kindness, poise, and creativity with annoying nicknames never fail to astound me.
