Nina Bailey

Nina grew up in Mill Valley, California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University with a B.A. in English in 1999. After completing her undergraduate studies, Nina moved to New York City where she worked in the rare book department at Christie’s auction house. In 2006, Nina earned her M.A. from New York University. She went on to teach English to high school and middle school students at independent schools in New York City and the Bay Area. In addition to teaching, Nina has worked as a writing tutor at College Essay Advisors, supporting students as they craft their college essays. She also volunteers at WriteGirl, a Los Angeles-based creative writing and mentoring organization.

In her free time, Nina enjoys hiking, baking, paddle boarding, and listening to Harry Potter with her two daughters.
