About Me

Hi, my name is Jake and I’m currently a junior. In addition to robotics, programming, and philosophy, I love to read, play piano and guitar, and go hiking with my dog. I am also deeply curious and enjoy being challenged, which is what led me to Stanford OHS.

What I Love About Stanford OHS

 There are so many things to love about Stanford OHS but here are a few of my favorites:

• The amazing teachers and staff - I can’t emphasize this enough!

• The fascinating courses - I’m literally running out of time to take all of the courses that I want to take at OHS. They are unique, interdisciplinary, and limitless in breadth and depth. 

• The vibrant global community - with many opportunities to get involved, collaborate, and give back. 

Why I Chose Stanford OHS

I was initially drawn to Stanford OHS for the rigorous curriculum and flexible schedule but I've found so much more. As noted above, the people are ultimately what make Stanford OHS such a great place to learn.
