Gwyneth Kelly grew up outside Washington, D.C. and now lives in Portland, Oregon. She has a BA in Comparative Literature from Northwestern University, an MA in English from University College London, and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Before joining Stanford OHS, she taught English and creative writing at the University of Iowa as well as screenwriting at the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio; she also previously worked as a Reporter-Researcher at The New Republic and has had work published in The Barcelona Review, The American Scholar, and The Washington Post. When not teaching or writing weird historical comedies, she enjoys watching TV with her dog, Merlin.
