Why We Chose Stanford OHS

We were looking for a school that would challenge and give our son the tools to fulfill his potential. The Core courses called our attention before starting, and are one of the things we value the most at the end.

Advice for Prospective Parents

Be ready to advise (schedule, study techniques, office hours), supervise (read, discuss, and check the deadlines). Give your kids enough space to make their own discoveries (clubs and events), set their new community (Skype groups), and learn from their academic and personal experiences.

One of My Favorite Things About Stanford OHS Is…

I love how Stanford OHS manages to balance STEM courses and philosophy. Knowledge is essential, but only if one also knows how to make good use of it and apply it to their life. It is great to see our son grow as a student and a respectful human being.
