Anita Rathi

Anita is a candidate for the Doctorate in Education (Learning and Instruction) program at the University of San Francisco and is currently a Lecturer of Computer Science at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA.  She grew up in India and received a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Delhi and a Master's in Computer Science from Sikkim Manipal University. She has also received a second Bachelor in Education from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. She loves working with talented high school students interested in Computer Science and is excited to continue to be a part of Stanford OHS.  Previously, she was the Principal Curriculum Developer at Oracle.

Anita has two beautiful daughters and a son who keeps her busy. In her free time, she enjoys swimming and running. She has also been a competitive swimmer in school.  She lives in San Luis Obispo, California.

Anita's intellectual curiosity and commitment to her field are evident in her research interests. She is currently focused on Accessibility in Computer Science Education, a topic that she is deeply passionate about and is actively contributing to.
