About Me

Hi! My name is Adriana and I live between three different states! Outside of Stanford OHS I like to ice skate, read, and bake as hobbies, and I'm a big fan of Taylor Swift. I also have a big passion for event planning and decorating! I hope to one day start my own business, but in the meantime I'm a student life peer leader at Stanford OHS, which is a great opportunity to practice problem solving and leadership.

Why I Chose Stanford OHS

I chose Stanford OHS because I was looking for an academically challenging school that would allow me to travel. Traveling is very important to my family, and, because I live between three different places, I needed a way to attend school from all of those places. I was also looking for a school with a good sense of community, because without that I was worried I would lose connection and lack friends my age. Finally, I get bored when I'm not in an academically rigorous environment, so I needed a school that could both travel with me and challenge me.

What I Love About Stanford OHS

I love the community and environment at Stanford OHS. While it is academically rigorous, which I like because I appreciate challenge, teachers genuinely want students to understand the material and succeed. There are also tons of opportunities to easily meet new people and make friends, further adding to the sense of community. At Stanford OHS I have always felt like someone has my back, which has helped me to thrive.
