What is your favorite/best Stanford OHS memory?
My first homecoming, which also happened to be the first homecoming after COVID, so it was the very first time I met a lot of my friends in person!
What is your favorite extracurricular activity?
I work at a bakery, and I love it very much! I have learned all sorts of new skills, obviously, but it has also been really fun to see firsthand how subjects like chemistry are applicable in fields you wouldn't expect to see them in, like baking. Cooking, and baking in particular, have been a big part of my life, so having the opportunity to pursue it as a more structured extracurricular has been awesome. My boss, Katie, is also wonderful, and is probably one of my biggest role models
What is your career goal?
To be quite honest, I am not really sure what my career goal is. I decided to wait to apply to college, and take a gap year, which I will hopefully be spending at culinary school, but I am not sure if I want to pursue a career in the culinary field or not. Because I have had some fairly unique medical issues throughout my life, I am drawn to the medical field, so perhaps that is the career that I will end up pursuing eventually... I am trying not to rush into my future, and instead see where life takes me naturally!
