Poetry with Ms Van Winkle

This homeroom is a space for students who enjoy reading, writing, and discussing poetry. We will read and talk about poems, exploring poets from past eras and movements and discovering contemporary voices. We will also take time to delve into the rich intersections of poetry and visual art. Students will have the opportunity to follow writing prompts, learn about form, and share their favorite works with the group.
