What was your favorite Stanford OHS course and why?
The History and Philosophy of Science (HSC), because of how it completely changed the way I think about science and what I know. It was a deeply humbling experience that was at the same time a whole lot of fun, and I will carry the lessons from it with me for the rest of my life.
What are some accomplishments you are most proud of?
The way I see it, "accomplishments" are less standardized goalposts that you need to get to to have value, and more of a way of finding things in life that matter to you and make it more valuable, even if they seem simple or unimportant through the lens of what most people count as an accomplishment. So in that framework, probably thinking of accomplishments that way--and also without fail commenting on how pretty the mountains are whenever I see them.
What is your favorite song?
To be quite honest "This Year" by the Mountain Goats. I love the hopeful message of persistence in the face of despair, and the song is set in my home of Claremont, CA!
